Celebration of Life for Mr. Wilbur Dann McKinney

Obituary

Wilbur Dann McKinney was born December 25, 1951
to Martha M. Cooper McKinney and Willie McKinney.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an
early age. He was baptized at The House of Prayer &
Life Church under the leadership of Overseer, Pastor
Mary Mitchell.
Wilbur Dann was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy football
fan and loved to watch the team play. He also loved to
fish, play cards and dominoes, and spend time with his
family and friends.
Wilbur Dann attended Blackshear School in Hearne,
Texas and later was a 1973 graduate from Bryan High
School in Bryan, Texas.
Wilbur Dann was preceded in death by his parents,
Martha M. Cooper McKinney and Willie McKinney,
Sr., and 6 brothers.
He departed this life at the age of 71 on November 24,
2023, at Lampstand Nursing and Rehabilitation of
Bryan, Texas.
Wilbur Dann leaves cherished memories to his 4 sisters,
Alma Smith, Dorothy Louise Robins, Linda Lou
Johnson all of Houston, Texas, and Yvonne McKinney
Bailey of Bryan, Texas; one brother, Willie McKinney,
Jr. of Massachusetts; a host of nieces and nephews;
special friends, Pastor Mary Mitchell, Chynell Bailey
and Karon Johnson; and a host of other relatives and
friends.

Funeral Serviced will be held on Saturday, December 2,2023 at 11:00A.M. At Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 West 18th Street Bryan,Texas 77803
