Obituary
Mrs. Tamail LaShae Williford, AKA “Timika” was born on November 01, 1975 in Bryan, Texas, to Celestine and Sam Smith, and was blessed to have a bonus father and a special Aunt Lee Meryl.
She attended Bryan Public Schools and graduated from Bryan High in 1994.
She was a nurturer at heart, always loving being around family, her kids, her grandchildren and her husband.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Williford, Jr.; sister, Lynn Hunter; grandparents, Sam Smith, Sr., Nettie B. Renchie, Ernest Newton and Thelma Johnson-Thornton; brothers, Sam Smith, III, and a bonus father, Robert Hunter.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband, Steve “Stone” Williford, Sr.; two sons, Sean Jones (Kristi Jones) and Ashton Williams; six daughters, Tamia, Mercedes (Eric), Ste’Asia, Ashley (Darvin Gray), Stephanie (Flee) Montemayor and Keyandra; her parents, Sam Smith, Jr. and Celestine Smith; three brothers, Robert Hunter, Ernest Hunter, and Cedric Smith; six sisters, LaTonya Hunter, Lee Hunter, Beverly Hunter (Quita), Minnie James (Ronnie), Thelma Hanks (Melvin III), and Nicole Hunter; grandchildren, Zay, Eva, Khaila, Khaylan and Kaysen; twenty-six other grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; special friends, Erica Pineda, Rachel Rodriguez, Rosie Beltran, Tiffany Gilbert and Dariah Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 2:30P.M. at Spirit of Faith Church located at 900 E. 29th Street,Bryan,Texas 77803
Visitation Services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 11:00A.M. until 6:30P.M. at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803
To the Family,
I didn’t know Tamika personally, but for a year and a half I saw her everyday while working cross guard at MLK and Muckleroy and she would always had a friendly smile and a wave for me.
