Phines Fletcher was born on May 20, 1971 in Bryan, Texas to
Nathan Fletcher, Sr. and Winnie McMurray Fletcher. Phines Fletcher attended Bryan Independent School District.
He confessed his love for the Lord at a young age at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Greater Faith Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a faithful, dedicated usher and a loyal church member.
Phines met the love of his life, Shameka Fletcher in the year of 2017 and they were joined together in holy matrimony in Marlin, Texas on November 06, 2021.
Phines enjoyed having good times with family and friends at all times. He was always full of laughter and jokes. On Sunday, April 27,2025 at 1:40 p.m., the Lord needed another angel, so He said, “come home my beautiful child” and he slipped right into His arms. Phines was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Fletcher, Sr. and Winnie Fletcher; his father and mother-in-law, Newell and Mary Smith; his grandparents, Cherry and Phines Fletcher, and Sam and Georgia McMurray.
Phines Fletcher is survived by his wife, Shameka Fletcher; his stepdaughter, Serena; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Nathan Fletcher (Lois Ann), Robert McMurray (Martha), David Fletcher (Sandra “Skeet”), Patrick Fletcher and Donnell Fletcher; his sisters, Sharon Stevenson, Pamela Bennett (Lee) and Karon Johnson (John); his nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
