Oscar Mungia Olivarez was born on January 10, 1951, to Adan Arredondo Olivarez and Elma Mungia Olivarez in Alice, Jim Wells County, Texas. He attended the Catholic Church.
Oscar graduated from William Adams High School in Alice, Texas. Throughout his life, he worked as an oilfield worker, an auto body and paint specialist, an usher at sporting events, and a mechanic and handyman.
Oscar enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working at his various jobs, cooking and barbecuing, building and restoring things, watching television, reading, listening to music, offering
advice, and reciting the Serenity Prayer and other favorite prayers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adan and Elma Olivarez; two brothers, Eloy Olivarez and David Olivarez; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Baby Boy Delgado-Olivarez and Michael and Melva Olivarez; two grandsons, Gavin Liam Olivarez and Isaiah Leon Olivarez-Martin; and many other beloved family members and loved ones.
Oscar leaves to cherish his memory his former wives, Gracie Delgado and Minnie Elaine Eastep Olivarez; his devoted partner, Selma Gonzalez; his children, Marcial Oscar Olivarez, Eloy Eastep Olivarez, his stepson, Frank Richarol Eastep, Erika Marie Olivaez & Rick Tobon, Monique Eastep Olivarez & Jesse Camarillo, and Carolynn Lazette Olivarez; his grandchildren: Damien and Devon Cruz, Alec, Bryan, Gracen, Adrian, Camryn, Drako, Elaysiah, Fadan, Haliyah, Alyssa Olivarez, Brandon Olivarez-Guerrero, Jerimiah Olivarez- Camarillo, Michael Reyes-Olivarez; great-grandchildren, Aliana Rae Perry, Lucas Jae Olivarez-Camarillo
