JERONE ALLEN TOLIVER was born on April 01, 1952 in Bryan,
Texas to Searcy Toliver and Dorothy Louise Gray Toliver.
Jerone attended Bryan Public Schools and graduated from Job Corp in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1971.


Jerone confessed his love for the LORD at a young age in his life and was baptized at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. He later joined the Morning Star Baptist Church. Jerone was a successful businessman, owning his own trucking company. He loved fishing, riding motorcycles and antique cars. The Dallas Cowboys were the best team in the world to him, and he was a true fan. Jerone loved his kids, grandkids and family.


On Monday, April 21,2025 at 1:35 p.m., the Lord needed another angel, so he said, “come home my beautiful child,” and he slipped away right into his arm, surrounded by his daughter, son and his special friend (Glenda Johnson Baber). Jerone was preceded in death by his parents, Searcy Lamar Toliver and Dorothy Louise Toliver; grandparents, Beatrice Toliver and Obbie
Toliver, and George Wideman; brothers, Obbie Toliver, Tyrone Toliver and Narcisco Reina, sisters, Eloyce Grimes, Mitsouklo Toliver and Rita Morgan, and many other loved ones.

Jerone’s legacy of love will be left to his daughters and one son-in- law, Tobia Washington (Roderick) and Stephanie Rodriguez; one son, Jerone Searcy; two sisters, Searcy Louise Toliver and Jannette Williams (Seth); 15 grandkids; 22 great-grandkids; two goddaughters,
Lakesha Hodrick and Deidra Tucker; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
