JEREMIAH SMITH JR. was born in Bryan, Texas to Jeremiah
and Savannah Woods Smith.

LEGACY

At an early age, Jeremiah accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined First Church C.O.G.I.C. under the Pastoral leadership of his grandfather, Elder Perry E Smith. He graduated from E.A. Kemp High School Class of 1968. After High School, Jeremiah Jr. decided to serve his country by joining the United States Army. Later in life, relocating to Dallas and working as an independent contractor doing various jobs such as a house painter, and a make-ready specialist until his retirement, while on this journey, he met and married Joycette Gipson in Wills Point, Texas from there union two children were born.

REMEMBRANCE

Jeremiah Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Jeremiah Smith Sr and Savannah Woods Smith, several aunts and Uncles, and a great-nephew, Andre Xavier Jefferson.
FAMILY

Jeremiah Jr. leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Joycette Smith; one daughter he so adored, Natalie Markeshia Amelia “Kee” as he so Loved to called her (Ricky) Smith; one son, his
true soldier, Jeremiah Nathanial “Bubba” III (Majesta) Smith; one bonus son, Damien ‘Body’ Ridge; his siblings: Jerelene (Curtis) Smith Cunninham, Charlene Smith Nugent, Savannah Smith, Zephaniah (Cheryl) Smith, Perry L. Smith; his five grandchildren: Adryetta (Robert) Smith, LaMonica Minnow,

Chrisyna Minnow, Damien, and Dashaun Ridge; two great-grandchildren: Jaikayden and Andrea Smith; one dear aunt, Estella Woods White; nieces: Charla (Lewis) Clark Luster, Carla (Dennis) Nugent, Vernesa Lopez Fretty, Carmen (Josh) Nugent, Ingrid (Larry) Cunningham, Cynthia Smith; nephew: Cedric Charles Nugent; 22 great nieces and nephews; 8 great-nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

  1. As a graduate of E.A. Kemp High School and a retired, I am compel to provide info to former military veterans who were in Viernam, Thailand, Cambodia and others southeastern location that would be affected by the PACT ACT singed into law by President Biden.
    Spouses of these deceased veterans could benefit financially. Please contact a reputable veterans organization for further help.
