Obituary

Gloria Jean Jackson was born June 8, 1956, to Willie Jackson and Carrie Mae Banks. She was raised by her special step-father, Theodore Banks.  She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Fairview Baptist Church in Bryan, Texas. She graduated from High School in 1974. She worked at ARC and completed her work career at Sears for many years. After her work ended, she started her next chapter in life, taking care of her grandchildren, which was her joy. Once the kids got older, she took pride in taking care of her mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, six siblings, one aunt, three uncles and, one niece. She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Shekitra Jackson, Katina Shannon, and Trineka (Kelvin) Cooper of Bryan, Texas; sisters, Genell (Billy) Jackson of Dallas, Texas, Lillian (Leon) Crumps of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Cornell Jackson of Dallas, Texas, William Banks of Marietta, Georgia, Greg (Debra) Banks of Columbus, Ohio, and Ted (Lawanna) Banks of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren, Kee’ara Dunn, Derrick Johnson, Jr., Markeist Johnson, Patrick Glover, Jr., Artavia Cooper and Keshaun Cooper; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friend, Pamela Simpson, and her loving East Park family.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday,June3,2023|11:00AM Pleasant Hill Cemetery 2530PleasantHill Rd Bryan,Texas 77807

Visitation Services will be held on Friday June 02, 2023 at 11:00AM until 7:00PM at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 W 18th Street Bryan, TX 77803
