Dustin Keith King Jr., better known as “DJ,” the son of the
late Madora Denise Swist and Dustin Keith King Sr., was
born on October 22, 2008, in Bryan, Texas. DJ attended Bryan Independent School District in Bryan, Texas.
DJ accepted Christ as his personal Savior at a young age.
DJ transitioned on Monday, May 4, 2026, from his earthly home to be with his Heavenly Father. He joined the ranks of his mother; his maternal grandfather, Charles E. Swist; and his paternal great-grandparents, Opal F. Evans and Latch Evans, who had gone before him.
DJ enjoyed music, basketball, scary movies, and spending time with family and friends. DJ leaves to cherish his memory his maternal grandmother, Francis Swist; his father, Dustin Keith King Sr.; his paternal grandmother, Janice Wade; his brothers, Justin M. King, Nicholas P. Walker III, Dreyden, and Jaylen; his sister, Dalaysia King; a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins; his
godmother, Dominique Johnson; and many other relatives and friends.
