Brian Christopher Gilbert was born on July 25,1984 in
Brenham, Texas to Walter Bural Hutchinson, Sr. and Bernell
Gilbert Douglas.

Brian went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
on June 23, 2025, at CHI St. Joseph Regional Health Center,
surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Brian Received his education in the Caldwell Independent
School District and graduated from Caldwell High School.
Brian accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.
He attended Skybreak Church in College Station, Texas.
Brian enjoyed grilling, fishing, sports, especially the Dallas
Cowboys Football Team. He coached little league football
teams, and just loved family and anything that took him
outdoors. Brian was a member of Sixth Man Productions.
He was married to Elham Gilbert. He was a loving, father,
brother and friend to many. Brian’s legacy will live on with his two sons, Adam Brian Gilbert and Levi Everado Gilbert (Constance Johnson)

He was blessed to have two special stepdaughters, Ah’miya Elizabeth Ann Gilbert and Olivia Ann Gilbert. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Bural Hutchinson, Sr. and Bernell Gilbert Douglas, his grandparents, his brothers, Homer Hutchinson and David Hutchinson, his sisters, Walterine Hines, Linda Hutchinson and Shnita Latrese Gilbert.

Brian is survived by his wife; two sons, two special daughters; his special friend, Sari Ana Amaoleo; four brothers, Hubert Hutchinson (Dorene), James LaBrock Gilbert, Darron Gilbert, Jason Gilbert (Shamiqua); nine sisters, Brenda Hutchinson Ray (Van), Diane Lindsey, Carolyn Williams (Kenneth), Glenda Hutchinson (Darrell), Alesia Hutchinson-Day (Wilfred), Lisa Johnson (Jerome), Mary Gilbert, ConTina Tindle (Charles), Ashley Gilbert (James); a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Charles Gilbert, Tommy Green, Gerald Jackson, JoAnne Manual, Detroit, Bo, Bobby, Daniel, and Kristen; and a host of other relatives and friends.
