Annie Armatha ( Mooring) Ross

Annie Armatha ( Mooring) Ross, 97, transitioned to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 30, 2018 in Dallas Texas. She was lovingly surrounded by her family at her time of death. Armatha, affectionately called ” Matha” was born June 5, 1920 in Bryan, Texas and was a life-long resident of the Brazos County area. She was married to the Late Reverend L. E. Ross, who was pastor at Castle Heights B.C and St.Mark M.B.C for 53 years. She remained a faithful servant at Castle Heights until death.

Her Grand Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Greater Tabernacle B.C, 907 Florida St, where Reverend Lawrence Hicks is Pastor and will be eulogizing her life.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 6, from 12pm to 7pm at Daniel and Son Funeral Home, 401 West 18th St, Bryan, Tx. There will be a viewing held at Greater Tabernacle B.C on April 7, 2018 from 9 to 11 just before the Grand Celebration Home Going Service at 11am.

    I am honored and blessed to have know ‘Momma’. She is a sweet soul with a fiercely independent spirit. I will always remember. One of the good ones have gone home to rest, and taken the last transformation where she is free from all pain, worries, or confinement of this physical world. She is now the guardian angel smiling down upon her family, as she sits with other family members who have gone before her. And they are all sitting with Father at peace enjoying their reward in Heaven!
