Obituary
Christopher Damon Watson was born March 24, 1973 in Bryan, Texas to the late Charles and Pensacola Watson.As a young boy he developed a love for history, reading his Bible, fishing and music.Christopher graduated from Bryan High School and enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He received an Honorable Discharge and soon afterwards started his 27 year career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He also obtained a commercial Driver’s License. Christopher met his wife Neketha in 1992 and they were later married in 2006. From that union came 3 sons, Christopher II, Brandon and Jaquaris. Christopher loved music, making beats;he was a phenomenal sound track engineer. He also played the base guitar, violin, and any instrument. He loved cooking, traveling and most of all his family.He was preceded in death his parents, Charles and Pensacola Watson; his grandmother, Clara Norman; his grandfather, Dennis Watson;great-aunt and uncle, Lillie and Davis Parker; his sister Christine Watson-Taylor, and his god-parent, Carolyn and Willie McGrew. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Neketha Watson; his sons, Christopher Watson II (La’Shyia), Brandon Watson (Tay), Jaquarus (Nekedra); 2 grandchildren, Chrishyia and Christopher III; two brothers, Byrrone Watson (Denise), Michael Watson (Cathy); 7 sisters, Chiffon Watson, Shantre’ Watson, Gloria Sims (George), Diana Watson (Oscar), Diane Henry, Michelle Miller, Erica Crawford, 4 brothers-in-law, Marko Tennell (Ebony), Michael Tennell (Patience), Curtis Tennell, Jr. (Shandel), Steven McMurry (Tisha); mother and father-in-law, Pastor Curtis Tennell, Sr. and Mrs.Shelly Tennell; God-brothers and sisters, Nicky Damon, Capri and Patience; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friend
