A Celebration of Life for Charlene “Chief” Workman

Obituary

Charlene (CHIEF) Workman Marshall was born on

September 27, 1958 to Lillian Parnell and Jody Workman.

She gave her life to Christ at a young age.

Charlene worked at Texas A&M University as a cook for

many years. Later in her life she became a homemaker. She

loved her family and friends.

Charlene was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour

Jesus Christ on December 15, 2024.

Preceding her in death, her parents, Jody and Lillian P.

Workman; her special love and companion, Rodney

Marshall; Ezell Moore, Brandon M. Workman; four

brothers, Bertis Pittman, Leon Pittman Freddie Lee Pittman,

and Jody Workman, Jr.; two sisters, Loretta Phillips and

Brenda W. Smith, one niece, Nickie Lynn Pittman and one

nephew, Freddie Lee Phillips.

Charlene’s

love and legacy to her family will be passed on to

her only son, Arell Workman; four grandchildren, Shareale

Workman, Ayrian Brown, R’Kavion Workman, and Jazlyn

Rueda; two brothers, Herbert Pittman and Drake

Workman; three sisters; Hazel P. Baldwin (Billy), Eva Jo R.

Butler (Patrick), and Gail Childs (Ronnie); and a host of

nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
