A Celebration of Life and Love Honoring Roosevelt Harris

Roosevelt Harris was born on April 5, 1945 to the late Endie HinesHarris and Thelmon Harris, Sr. He grew up and attended Lincoln High
School of College Station, TX. He accepted Christ at an early age and was
baptized at Roans Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He sang in the choir
and participated in youth activities.
Roosevelt then went to work at Russtex Oil Field for a couple of years.
He then found his passion by becoming the all-around contractor throughout many cities and states. He later became self employed by owning his own business, Harris and More Lawn Service in Dallas, TX.
Proceeding him in death were his parents, Endie and Thelmon Harris, Sr.
his brother; Reverend Thelmon Harris, Jr., sister; Jessie Myrtle Harris,
grandchild; Dominique Harris, and great-grandson; KeTron Wells, Jr.

He is cherished forever in memory by his loving wife ,Miriam Elaine Harris of 22 years until God called him home; brothers, Earnest Harris (Lenora) and James Harris; sisters, Mary Jean Harris, Ocie Harris Manley, Jessie Turner and Linder Harris Jones; sons, Roosevelt Harris (Sarah), Roosevelt Jr. (Sylvia) and Derek Osaroekee; daughters, Angela Harris Johnson (Terrell), Kimberly Harris “baby girl”, Antinette Harris; stepdaughters, Miriam La’Shunn Johnson, Angela L. Taylor; grandchildren, Jennifer Schubach, Kali Ponce, Jadyn S. Harris, Jermaine Tealer, Lakia Johnson, Arlyssa Jaden, KeShawn Wells, Isiah Harris, Shakilya Johnson, Treyveone Tealer, Christopher Harris, KeTron Wells, Paul Willis, Osaroekee, including 15 more loving grandchildren; great grandchildren, Amaree , Avery, Ava and Khloe’ and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly, Alex’Andrea Tucker, Keitrick Tealer, Keith Wells Jr., Joshua Harris, Elycia Davis, Vion McWilliams, Jacob Harris, Jerderian Tealer, JoyAnn Campbell and London Swanson.
