Priscilla Jefferson Tasker, daughter of Rufus Jefferson and Georgia Ellis Jefferson, was born on June 1, 1922, in Brazos County. Priscilla loved the Lord and was a faithful member of St. Mark
Missionary Baptist Church for over 80 years. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Jefferson and Georgia Ellis Jefferson; her husbands, Charlie Wade and
Emit Tasker; her siblings, Will Jefferson, Fred Jefferson, Gloster Jefferson, Clara Woodfork, Annie Mae Murkledove, and Georgia Crawford; her son, James C. Wade; her grandchildren,
Robert Lee Jones, Sylvester Lister and Ron Lister; and one great-grandchild, Robert Johnson III.
Priscilla leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Deloise Simpson (David), Dora J. Lister, Lucille Tate (Alexander), Emit Tasker Jr. (Valerie), and Lovie Tasker-Rogers (Daryl); twenty-
one grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; seventy-two great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
