Daren Arand White. Sr. was born on February 15, 1978, to the late George Paul White. Sr. and DeLores Nelson Haynes in College Station. Texas.
He grew up in Houston and College Station, where he remained until God called him to his heavenly home. Daren accepted Christ at an early age at College Hills Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend M.H. Harris, and later Reverend Marlon Outing. He later became a member of New Life W.C.O.C under the leadership of Apostle William H. Harris, where he remained steadfast and faithful in his walk with Christ.
Daren was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, and cousin. He was well respected and dearly loved by many throughout the Bryan-College Station community.
On May 8, 2026, Daren answered his Heavenly Father’s call from labor to rest.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Paul White, Sr.; one sister, Lisa; his paternal grandparents, Ellis and Annie White; his maternal grandparents, Jodie and lola Nelson; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Cherishing his precious memories is his beautiful and faithful wife, Lakesha Hodrick-White; his mother, DeLores Nelson Haynes; four daughters, Tytiana, Keshanti, Dazaria, and Ke’miya; four sons, Daren Jr., Keshundre, Messiah, and Sa’Kaiden; four granddaughters, Beautiful, Gorgeous, On’Esty, and Jh’enesis; sisters, Taylor (Monterris) and Serina (Terry); brothers, Daemon, George Jr. (Rachel, Artis, and Broderic; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; his mother-in-love, Wilma F. Dickey; his godparents, Apostle William and Ruby Hams; two godbrothers, Frederick “Shon-Shon” Robinson (Jennifer) and James “JJ” Robinson; one godson, Martrevious; and two special aunts, Virgia (LeRoy) Thomas and Cynthia Heard.
