Bobbie Gene Turner was born in Hearne, Robertson County, Texas on December 2,1950 to Robert Turner and Alertha Dun Turner. At an early age, Bobbie confessed his love for Lord and became a member of New Zio Baptist Church in Mumford, Texas. He went home to be with Lord. and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday July 15,2025 at the home in Lubbock, Texas surrounded by his beloved wife and family.
Bobbie attended the Mumford Independent School District and, after completing the 12th grade, enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1969. He spent most of life driving trucks for a living, in 2011, he met and married Dora Faye Willard Turner. Bobbie was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alertha Dunn Turner, and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife Dora Faye Truner; two sons, Reginald Turner and Bobby Woodard; one daughter, Angela Sharon Truner; two stepdaughters, Rita Lullen and Felicia Copper; two brothers, including his twin, Robbie Gene Turner, and Robert Turner; two sisters, Mae Helen Turner and Anette Turner six grandchildren; Tasa, Kerria, Brecole, Kisha, Denise and Quintarius; nine great grandchildren, Serenity, Amari, Harmony, Bronx ,Rome ,Nya, Coy, Drew, and Nia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
