Obituary

Willie Mae Drew Barrow was born in New Orleans, Louisiana,
on January 07, 1943 to Frank Stevenson Drew and Mildred
Johnson Drew.
At an early age Willie Mae confessed her love for her Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ in New Orleans, and when she had to make
that transfer to Texas after Hurricane Catherine, she made
Bryan, Texas her home. While living here in Bryan, she joined
St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the
late Joe Wilbert, Jr., as her Pastor.
Willie Mae met and married her husband, Ivory Barrow, Sr. and
to this union, a total of 4 children, including a set of twin boys
and unfortunately only twin Robert lived and the other twin
passed away.
Willie Mae enjoyed family and friends. She enjoyed cooking,
dancing, and just having fun.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, one twin boy, Ivory
Barrow, Jr.; her parents, Frank Stevenson Drew and Mildred
Johnson Drew; one sister, Audrey Gain; one brother, Charles
Drew; her grandmother, Laura Johnson; two sisters, Oretha
Reed, Bernice Wells; and a cousin, Helen Shelby.
She leaves cherished memories: 2 devoted sons, Willie Barrow
and wife, Christine of Bryan, Robert Barrow and his fiancee’
Dawn of Slidell, Louisiana; 4 grandchildren, Willena Christine
Barrow, Willieya Barrow, Willie Barrow, Jr., and Willie
Beasley, one niece, Yvette Drew; and a host of other friends
and family members.

Visitation Services: Friday January 05,2024 from 3:00PM until 6:30PM at Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 West 18th Street
