Obituary
MILTON DEWAYNE CHILDRESS was born May 08,
1965, in Bryan, Texas to proud parents Sylvia Jean
Childress and Ralph Kearney.
He attended Carver-Kemp Elementary School in Bryan,
Texas, Aldesson Junior High in Lubbock, Texas, and
Estacado High School.
Milton attended Lyon’s Chapel Baptist Church. While
living in Bryan, he also attended Pleasant Grove
Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of
Pastor E.E. Garvin.
He enjoyed music and dancing all of his life.
Milton is preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia
Childress, father, Ralph Kearney, sister, Carolyn
Childress. favorite aunt, Emma Joyce Johnson, and
cousin, Deborah Johnson.
Survivors include, 2 brothers, Robert Johnson of
Lubbock, Texas and Milton Kearney, Jr. of Bryan,
Texas; Kim Kearney of Dallas, Texas; sister-in-law,
Janet Johnson of Lubbock, Texas; special cousins, Scott
Harrison, Glenn Willis, Hope Johnson and Brenda
Johnson; special friends, Randall Penns and Reggie
Penns; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins
other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 16,2023 at 2:30P.M. At Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 West 18th Street Bryan,Texas 77803
