Willie James Moore Jr. ” Sonny” was born on August 4, 1949 in Temple, Oklahoma to the late Willie James Moore Sr. And Rosie Lee Gilbert.

Willie James ” Sonny” Moore Jr attended Oakland Schools in Sacramento, California.

Willie James ” Sonny” Moore Jr attended Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church for many years, where he was a faithful member until his demise. After working for 24 years with College Station Independent School District, he retired with the District.

Proceding him in death his parents, his Grandmother Alice Turner.

He leaves to cherish his memories three brothers; one uncle Booker Gilbert of Wichita, Kanas; his pastor and Church Family at Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church, a very caring and assiting friend Carolyn Stewart Pettit, of Bryan and a host of other relatives and friends.
