Robert Charles Davis

Sunrise: November 3, 1960

Robert Charles Davis was born on November 3, 1960 to Jerome Davis and Alberta Davis. He attended Mumford Public School and later graduated from Hearne High School. Although Robert didn’t have an official church home, he sought the counsel of Reverend John W. Hubbard, co-worker, friend and spiritual advisor. Robert labored for Texas A & M University system for many years. Robert was a loving, caring and generous man who did not mind lending a helping hand to whoever stood in need.

Proceding Robert in death are both of his parents, Jerome and Alberta Davis; two brothers, Charles R. Davis and Willie J. Davis ; three sisters, Velma McMurry, Joe Ann ” Dottie” Davis and Ella D. Davis- Gamble.

His legacy and love for his family will be passed on to his wife, Doris McKinney; grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Lettie Shivers; three brothers, Melvin Hunter, James Davis and Jackie Davis; close friends, Mr. Alex Lewis III, Mr. Ronnie Blackshear , Rev John W. Hubbard and Mr. Michael Martin and a host of nieces and Nephews.He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
