Katherine Langston

Katherine Langston received her call from the Lord to eternal rest on September
22, 2019. She was born February 7, 1942 in Steel Store , TX to the Late Peter
Charlie Hunter Sr. and Lula Grace Hunter . She attended public schools in Bryan , TX
and Graduated from Kemp High School in 1961 .

Few years later Katherine married the love off her life in 1962 Charles A.
Langston Sr. From this union they were blessed with 5 beautiful Children.
Ms. Langston was a devoted wife and mother not to just her own children but
welcomed many into their home as he own . Her exceptional work ethic and her
heart to serve other brought many opportunities that many only dream of having. Owning business and earning a honest living she worked two jobs and as her health began to decline she retired from Bryan Independent School with 35 years of service. With her smile and gift to serve she still worked at Palasota Grocery
and as her healthy began to fail her more, she had to depart years later. She inspired
the neighborhood, everyone knew Ms. Langston .

Katherine accepted Christ at a young age and was a faithful and active member
of Greater Salem Missionary Baptist Church of Bryan Tx where she attended for
over 50 years. She served as a trustee and a member on the mission board.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Peter and Lula Hunter Sr.; Her husband,
Charles A. Langston Sr., three siblings , Son Willie Charles Langston and great-
grandson, Kelton O’Brian Coleman.

She leaves to cherish her memory five children, Charlene Marie Hunter-Lane, of
Brenham, TX, Victor Vlantee Langston (Trina) of Tampa, FL, Charles Augusta
Langston Jr (Monica), James Ray Langston, Terry Wayne Langston (Bijai) of
Bryan, Tx; Ten Grandchildren, Brandick Hunter, Kourtney Pruett, Brittany
Langston, Terrika Langston, Tevyn Langston, Stephanie Langston, Tyler
Langston, Taylor Langston, Charles Langston III, Elexis Langston, Terry Langston Jr.; Six great grandchildren, and an abundance of nieces and nephews who
will also cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 27 from 10am to 6pm at Daniel and Son Funeral home 401 W. 18th St, Bryan, Tx 77803.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2:30 pm at United Full Gospel M.B.C., 1600 West Martin Luther King st Bryan, Tx 77803.
