Lloyd “Lyrd” Suseberry

Lloyd Suseberry, was born September 27, 1939 in Madison County to the late Archie Suseberry and Ora Mae Morgan Suseberry.
Lloyd professed his faith in Christ at an early age at Saint James Baptist
Church in Bryan, Texas.

He graduated from E. A. Kemp High School in 1960. He was a great athlete: he played football, basketball and ran track.

Upon graduating from high school, he met and married Betty Jean Jackson
in Lubbock, Texas. To this union four daughters and two sons were born.
They later moved to San Diego, California. He attended South Bay
Trading School, majoring in Building Rehabilitation Maintenance. He
worked for the State Department of Highways in California and Bryan as a
Landscaper and Maintenance Operator. Later, Lloyd was the maintenance
person for Big Top Learning Center and he did rehabilitation maintenance
from Galveston Texas to Dallas Texas.

Preceding him in death were his mother and father; five brothers, Samuel
Suseberry, Nathan Suseberry, Eric Wayne Suseberry, Archie Suseberry Jr.,
and R. Z. Suseberry; and three sisters, Reather Mae Griffin, Lacy Lee
Johnson and Orlean Darnte

He leaves to cherish his memories a wife, Betty Jean Jackson Suseberry; five
daughters, Charmane Suseberry of Houston, Texas, Tylisa Suseberry, Angelia
Suseberry , Consuelo Suseberry, all of San Diego, California and Reanie
Creeks of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Lloyd Damiann Suseberry of San Diego,
California, and Clyde Jonathan Suseberry of Houston, Texas; twenty one
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Hanks
and Earnestine Hanks, both of Bryan, Texas; two brothers, Joe Louis
Suseberry and Clinton Suseberry (Dimple) both of Bryan, Texas and a
host of nieces, nephews and other relative and loved on.

Visitation will be held Friday September 13, 2019 from 10 to 6 pm at Daniel and Son Funeral Home 401 W 18th street Bryan, Tx 77803

Funeral services will be held Saturday September 14, 2019 at 11am at New Chapel M.B.C. 409 west 21st st Bryan,Tx 77803
