Mrs.Ruby Jewel Green

Mrs. Ruby Jewel Green was born on June 20, 1936, in Somerville , Tx, to the late Booker T. Daniels, Sr and Dora Daniels. Her childhood years were spent in Independent Clay Station, Tx. She met and married Charlie Green, Sr August 24, 1957 in Littlefield, Tx.

Mrs. Ruby was a woman of many words. She believed in speaking her mind and telling you how she felt without fear. She enjoyed shopping and spending time around tiwn with family and friends. She was a talker and before illness she loved going to McDonald’s in Caldwell meeting and greeting people.

On Thursday, December 28, 2017, the Lord called upon Ruby Jewel Green and she departed this life. Her passing brought sadness to the hearts of all who loved her. Our hearts may throb and ache but we know he maketh no mistakes. Our cherished plans may go astray; our hopes may fade away, but still we trust our Lord to lead us for he knows the way. On this day he made no mistake.

Mrs.Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Green, Sr; two infant daughters; her parents, Booker T. Daniels, Sr and Dora Daniels; three brothers, Albert House, Booker T. Daniels, Jr and George Daniels; two sisters, Alta Mae Harris and Mattie Hanks.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Ruthie Green and JoAnn Daniels, both of Houston, Tx; four sons, Charlie Green Jr (Ada) of Caldwell, Tx, Donnie Green of Dallas, Tx, Alonzo Daniels (Patsy) and Leon Daniels ( Jeanette) both of Bryan, Tx; three sisters Betty Marshall of Dallas, Tx, Earline Cooper of Baytown, Tx and Maxine Brown of Houston, Tx; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-five great- grandchildren and four great – great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
